Our learning approach

CRT's learning programmes are designed to develop practical, applicable professional competence — not theoretical knowledge divorced from the realities of commodity trade. The curriculum is built around the seven domains of the Professional Competence Framework and is structured to be accessible to experienced practitioners as well as those earlier in their careers.

The programmes combine: structured self-study modules; live webinars and case study sessions; assessed written work; and formal examination. The precise blend will vary by programme and level.

Programmes and modules

Faculty

CRT's learning programmes will be delivered by practitioners with direct, current experience in international commodity trade. The faculty model prioritises practical expertise alongside pedagogical skill. Faculty appointments have not yet been made; the Faculty page will be updated as appointments are confirmed.
