Live Learning
CRT Live Learning comprises scheduled interactive sessions — webinars, case study workshops, and expert discussions — designed to complement the self-study curriculum and support CPD. No sessions are currently scheduled.
Learning outcomes
Live Learning sessions will help participants:
- Apply knowledge from the self-study curriculum to realistic case studies
- Engage with practitioners and faculty on current issues in commodity trade
- Build professional connections with peers across the CRT community
- Fulfil CPD hours in a structured, recorded format
Syllabus
Proposed live session formats include:
- Case study workshops: Analysis of real or anonymised commodity trade scenarios, applying Competence Framework knowledge to practical problems
- Expert discussions: Practitioner-led discussions on current developments in specific sectors or risk areas
- Regulatory and sanctions updates: Timely sessions responding to significant regulatory changes or sanctions developments
- Examination preparation: Structured revision sessions for Foundation Certificate candidates
- Specialist deep-dives: Extended sessions covering specialist module topics in depth

Entry requirements and terms
Live Learning sessions will be open to CRT members. Some sessions may be open to non-members as introductory events. All sessions will be recorded and made available to enrolled members in the member portal (subject to speaker consent).
