The CRT will work to actively promote cooperation between chambers. We believe that there are many areas of mutual interest so we will develop an open forum to encourage opportunities for development, and solutions to common problems.
As the business world begins to embrace an international ethos, promotion of the concept of the chambers of commerce as essential intermediaries between local government, business and the public is a key factor that needs to be developed.
The CRT will actively work closely with chambers as support on a local level through advice through our NSB’s who will actively consult chambers in its decisions.
Active collaboration between the CRT NSB’s and chambers should be promoted in terms of extending the choice and improving the efficiency of services we can provide to our member’s.
Working with chambers to ensure the administration of the international customs guarantee chain set up for the operation of the ATA Carnet System functioning under the ATA Convention and/or the Istanbul Convention of the World Customs Organization (WCO), and of any other chamber-based international chains which may be set up.
To prioritise development of chambers within emerging markets, and to encourage participation on a broad range of activities. Working towards prioritizing professional introductions of chambers to specific CRT business members and delegates, we hope to develop positive and economically sound relationships.

Since the formation of the very first chambers of commerce in France in 1599, the world has embraced the importance of a unified business ethic which not only continues but flourishes today. The CRT has evolved as a result of promoting and maintaining this system for many positive reasons. As the world's economy develops and as the global village is more interconnected, co-operation of businesses of all sizes on an international level has never been so important than it has been today.
