CRT Trade Platform

The concept

The fundamental problem the CRT Trade Platform addresses is simple: in physical commodity trade, it is difficult to know whether the counterparty you are dealing with is who they say they are, whether they have the authority they claim, and whether they have a genuine track record of professional conduct.

The CRT platform proposes to solve this by restricting access to verified CRT members. Every participant has been onboarded, accepted the Code of Conduct, and — if they hold a Trade Integrity Passport — has been independently certified. This creates a meaningfully different trust environment compared to unverified trade directories or commodity broking platforms.

Platform functions

Access and verification

Access to the CRT Trade Platform will be restricted to current CRT members who have completed the platform onboarding process. This process will verify:

• Current CRT membership status
• Identity documents sufficient for KYC purposes
• Any relevant compliance declarations

Members with a Trade Integrity Passport will be displayed on the platform with verified status. Those without certification but with membership will be clearly differentiated.

Platform safeguards

CRT proposes several safeguards to protect platform participants. Full details are on the Platform Safeguards page. In summary: all participants are verified CRT members; activity is subject to the Code of Conduct; CRT moderates for conduct, not commercial terms; and deal rooms are encrypted and access-controlled.
